A Brief History
Bradford is a seasoned composer, holding a graduate degree in music composition from Berklee College of Music. His versatility as a composer is evidenced by the collection of documentaries, animated shorts, and concert works. Additionally, Bradford is an exceptional orchestrator, MIDI programer, and audio recording and mixing engineer. His skill sets have made him a valuable one-stop-shop for indie film makers for all things music. Whether it is a full orchestral score or ambient and electronic, Bradford has all the skills and equipment to produce exceptional music ready for broadcast.
His musical journey began at the age of five when he initiated piano studies, and by the fourth grade, he had already embarked on his exploration of composition. During his high school years and beyond, Bradford showcased his talents through numerous solo recitals before dedicating his focus to composition.
His formative years at Berklee were pivotal, allowing him to refine his composition skills and deepen his comprehension of music. This phase included the creation of substantial concert pieces, supplementing the rigorous demands of his graduate studies.
Bradford's contributions to the field extend to his work on independent documentaries, forging meaningful relationships with filmmakers and fellow creative professionals. Additionally, he has undertaken the task of arranging tracks for video games, spanning from Silent Hill to Banjo and Kazooie, with releases through Materia Collective. Bradford has also ventured into producing his own catalog of albums, ranging from fantasy metal to EDM.
In his relentless pursuit of musical excellence, Bradford remains committed to expanding his horizons. Whether collaborating with filmmakers or composing for the concert hall, each new project serves as an opportunity to push the boundaries of his artistry.
"I believe an artist is someone, who by joy of design, creates and expresses some deeper feeling than words can articulate; if not to share with others on larger scale the thing created, then to purge the unsaid, and be left with something tangible for the artist’s own joy. As for art, by extension, it is the result of design by passion."
